Beijing is a city on steroids. Now that the Olympics are over and the development of the city can start to pursue a track that is more related to the needs of its citizens, the non-stop destruction and construction continues. It often feels a lot like Sim City, add an opera house here, a new library there, how about a new airport out there somewhere, maybe four more subway lines there and how about we divert some water from that neighboring province over there. So, although it's not the first site to do it, it seems timely to take a look at this Simcity-style map of Beijing.
